Parker University is proud to announce that its Tutoring Services program has earned Level 1 certification through April 2030 from the internationally recognized College Reading and Learning Association.

Under the coordination of Cameron Bailey, the program completed the International Tutor Training Program Certification (ITTPC) peer review, aligning with nationally recognized standards in tutor selection, training, direct service, and program evaluation.

This certification reflects Parker University's continued commitment to academic excellence, student-centered support, and the intentional development of high-quality peer educators dedicated to advancing student achievement and institutional success.

This past month, the Parker University School of Massage Therapy's Alumni Athletic Massage Team and Student Interns provided more than 500 sports massage sessions to over 200 basketball teams at Kyrie Irving's Uncle Drew Circuit Basketball Tournament in Lancaster, Texas. This is a program record for the number of sessions performed in a weekend. They performed back-to-back sessions on high school-aged athletes from as far as Hawaii, France, and Canada, as well as from all corners of the United States. Kyrie Irving of the Dallas Mavericks, who hosted the tournament, made appearances to motivate the athletes and search for the best "ballers" that exist. Our massage therapy team played a crucial role in helping the athletes recover from a grueling tournament schedule that had some teams playing multiple games each day.

Our sports affiliations make us a desirable program for those wanting to obtain a career working with athletes.

Way to go Parker Baseball team!

2026 will go in the record books for Parker Baseball. 1st Gulf Coast North Conference Championship, First Regional Appearance, School Record in Wins, a Regional Tournament victory against Baylor 10-9 after trailing 9-1, and a National Ranking across multiple weeks and as high as no. 15

And all of them future doctors. Way to continue to raise the standard and put Parker on the map!
