The Center for Nursing History of Northeastern Pennsylvania This Center serves as a unique repository of nursing history, historical artifacts and memorabilia.

The Center for Nursing History was founded in 2005 to ensure the preservation and maintenance of the history of nursing and nursing education in Northeastern Pennsylvania. The Center for Nursing History of Northeastern Pennsylvania at Misericordia University was established to give voice to area nurses past, present and future and to recognize the impact of regional nurses and nursing on the histo

ry of Northeastern Pennsylvania. Funded by a grant from the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission, The Center for Nursing History of Northeastern Pennsylvania was founded at Misericordia University in 2005. The Center is devoted to the advancement of nursing scholarship and research by bringing the founding and evolution of regional nursing and nursing education to life through exhibits, sponsored events and digital media.
