Big news from SMU Meadows School of the Arts! This fall, we're welcoming the inaugural cohort of the Sexton Institute for Musical Theatre. Selected through a highly competitive national audition process, these 12 students from across the country will become the first class to pursue SMU's new Musical Theatre degree, helping launch an exciting new chapter for the Division of Theatre.

Please join us in welcoming the Class of 2030: Dylan Baer, Sofia Bornia, Sherlicia Cariolét, Harrison Dunker, Will Hurtt, Hannah Lee, Lacey Loocke, James McGinnis, Olivia O'Donnell, Aiden Olson, Audrey Seneli and Kendal Walls.

With conservatory-level training in acting, singing and dance, alongside academic coursework, performance opportunities and mentorship from acclaimed faculty and industry professionals, these students are preparing to become the next generation of musical theatre artists.
