From our new VP of DDAR:
I am pleased to announce Ryan Jones, ‘95 Com, has been appointed as the interim leader of the Penn State Alumni Association effective immediately. With input from others, I have full confidence in Ryan’s ability to lead the Association effectively during this transitional period.
As many of you know, Ryan has been a member of the Alumni Association since 2007, when he joined the Penn Stater magazine as a senior editor. Since 2018, Ryan has served as the publication’s editor, and as such was also a member of the Alumni Association’s executive leadership team. He has a thorough understanding of day-to-day operations, and has developed strong relationships with both alumni and University leaders, which will support his efforts in this interim position.
Please join me in thanking Ryan for taking on this expanded role, allowing us to conduct a national search for our full-time, permanent Penn State Alumni Association leader very soon. We are deeply grateful for his willingness to serve in this interim capacity and ensure continued progress for the Alumni Association during this important time.
