For students with ADHD, dyslexia, dyscalculia, test anxiety, or other learning differences, ACT prep has to be structured in a way that reduces overwhelm and builds confidence step by step.

In Block 1, students master some of the most commonly tested ACT concepts first, including punctuation, subject-verb agreement, verb tense, parallelism, order of operations, fractions, polynomials, exponents, multi-step equations, word problems, reading passage mapping, pacing, and foundational science analysis.

Then in Block 2, students build on that foundation with more high-frequency concepts like slope, midpoint, distance, graphs, absolute value, inequalities, lines, area, perimeter, matrices, English testing strategies, full-length English analysis, and continued reading practice.

Students do not move forward until they demonstrate at least 85% mastery.

The goal is not to overwhelm students with everything at once.

It is to teach the concepts that show up most often, make sure they actually stick, and give students a system they can trust on test day.

A 32+ ACT can be worth far more than bragging rights.

At Ole Miss, for example, a Mississippi resident with a 3.0 GPA and a 32 ACT can qualify for $7,500 per year in Academic Merit, and students with a 3.5 GPA can receive an additional award that brings the total to $11,500 per year. That is up to $46,000 over four years if renewal requirements are met. At 33+, the annual total can rise even higher.

If your student is already planning to attend college, the question is not only, “What will tutoring cost?”

It is also, “What could a stronger ACT score save us?”
