She brings over seven years of advanced research experience in cancer biology and neuroscience, including specialized neonatal neurology research under Dr. Raphael Galindo.
Alexia was published four times for her contributions to Dr. Galindo’s groundbreaking work in neonatal brain injury, helping develop the first EEG model to track neonatal brain injury, identify seizure patterns following hypoxia-ischemia, and advance understanding of long-term neurological outcomes from oxygen deprivation in infancy.
She is also a published author and curriculum designer, having written three ACT/SAT/PSAT textbooks and created three interactive online courses, exclusively for AAC.
In 2019, Alexia was crowned Miss United States, launching The Alexia Project to support underserved communities and advocate for women affected by sexual assault and domestic violence. She continues to volunteer with organizations including Smile Train, Autism Speaks, Covenant House, and more.
AAC is built entirely on Alexia’s proprietary methodologies, taking a holistic approach to admissions—combining test mastery with Common App strategy, résumé building, confidence, and long-term success.
