Being part of Texas A&M College of Dentistry means belonging to an unrivaled network bound by a shared call to service. Here, dentistry is more than clinical excellence—it’s a commitment to community.
We are proud to celebrate Dr. Jacqueline Plemons, clinical professor and inaugural executive director of external affairs at Texas A&M University College of Dentistry, on her nomination for 2026 Texas Dentist of the Year by the Texas Academy of General Dentistry!
For nearly four decades, Dr. Plemons has led with character—mentoring generations of dental professionals and delivering community-centered care and service through her volunteer work with shelters, adoption services, and HIV/AIDS patient care. But her impact doesn't stand alone. She is joined among this year’s nominees by several Texas A&M College of Dentistry alumni plus current and former faculty members - Dr. Chad Duplantis, Dr. Trisha Kimes, Dr. M. Leif Stromberg, Dr. Christa Walker and Dr. Partha Mukherji - proving that when Aggies step up, our entire dental community thrives together.
When we unite to care for others, we build a healthier, brighter world. This is who we are, together.
