🔺 DAC will provide Voter Registration & Education as we join the community in raising awareness for Sickle Cell Disease.

This weekend in Charlotte reminded us exactly who we are.

The Sisterhood, Social Action, and Service of Delta Sigma Theta was on full display throughout the South Atlantic Regional Conference.

❤️ Thursday, we learned.
🖤 Friday, we reaffirmed our love for our sisters, recommitted ourselves to the fight for justice, and renewed our dedication to the principles of Social Action.
💜 Saturday, we focused on strengthening our organization, and strutted in our finest proudly wearing our royal purple as a symbol of our shared purpose.
🙏 Sunday, we WORSHIPPED together, grateful for the opportunity to serve and lead.

We return home inspired, equipped, and ready to continue the work in our communities. Better together. Always.

The 32nd South Atlantic Regional Conference is in full swing!

Regional Director Pamela Murphy Lewis and Regional Representative Madison R. Manley have guided the Sensational South Atlantic Region with intention, innovation, and fortitude. Their leadership and vision has served the South Atlantic Region well, driving our Sorority's mission and purpose forward.

As we move through the conference, we continue to see the vast impact of your leadership during the last biennium. Job well done Soror Murphy Lewis and Soror Manley! We are excited to witness the legacy of excellence you have created throughout the South Atlantic Region.

For stop four on our 2026 Regional Conference Cycle, we have arrived in the Queen City of Charlotte, North Carolina for the SENSATIONAL 32nd South Atlantic Regional Conference!

Over 4,000 sorors from Bermuda, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virgina, and over 1,000 virtual particpants are registered to convene for this week's conference.

We are excited to commence an impactful conference where Deltas Reign in the Queen City! 🔺👑

Congratulations to our dynamic Soror, Dr. Tatia Daniels Granger, on her historic selection as the 17th President of Averett University!

The Danville Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated proudly celebrates this well-deserved milestone and warmly welcomes Dr. Granger and her husband, Earl, to Danville.

With more than three decades of higher education leadership, Dr. Granger brings vision, experience, and excellence to Averett University as she begins this exciting new chapter on August 1, 2026.

We look forward to witnessing her impact in the Dan River region and celebrating the continued bond of sisterhood, service, and educational advancement.

Wishing a Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers and friends of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated! Today, we celebrate all fathers and father figures who are a constant source of strength and support for their families.

We also hold space for those who are grieving, remembering, or honoring the fathers they carry in their hearts.

Happy !

Today we honor the legacy of the last enslaved African Americans in Texas who were finally informed of their freedom, some two and a half years after President Abraham Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation. It was those people, and the generations of Texans who came after them, who made the bold declaration to celebrate this day, marking a reality we know far too well in this country: freedom may be delayed, but it will never be denied.

Though our fight for freedom sadly continues, today we pause to celebrate and embrace the joy of our ancestors who believed in the possibilities of a more promising tomorrow. And in that joy, we remain anchored, steadfast in our pursuit of true freedom and justice for all.
