The annual theatre banquet has come to an end!🤠

There was great food, fun games, and an awards ceremony to conclude the festivities. This banquet was to celebrate everyone’s hard work during our 2025-2026 season!

More will be announced soon regarding our 2026-2027 season!🐴

“Lucky Stiff” has come to an end!🎲

We are so grateful for the audiences that joined us for our 2025-2026 season! The support we have seen doesn’t go unnoticed and we can’t wait to be back with more in the fall!

Community is one of biggest reasons theatre is alive and we are proud to see ours show up! Thank you to everyone who made a donation to the Humane Society! Today, students dropped off the goodies!🐾

While this may be the end, for now, this isn’t goodbye! We will have more information about what is coming next…. soon!💛💙

“Lucky Stiff” opens TOMORROW!🎲

Our show runs…
Thursday, April 16th at 7pm♥️
Friday, April 17th at 7pm♣️
Saturday, April 18th at 7pm♦️
Sunday, April 19th at 2pm♠️

In case you missed the announcement Sunday, we are accepting donations of food, toys, treats, or other animals goodies that will be donated to the Danville Area Humane Society. Here are some more of the furry friends your cast loves deeply!🐾

Along with our drive, we are also bringing back the 50/50 raffle that goes towards student opportunities! Prices are as follows…

The Averett Theatre Players are hosting a drive!🐾

As we prepare for “Lucky Stiff,” which opens in 4 days, we wanted to share with you exciting news. Your cast is very passionate about their furry friends. Whether dog, cat, snake, or any little creature, we all love our pets the same.

In the United States, there are over 3 million dogs, and other animals, who need forever homes. Animals who need love, care, and medical attention (if necessary). We urge you to adopt your furry friends if you are seeking for one.

In “Lucky Stiff,” dogs are a prominent plot point in the show. We are very pleased to tell you that we will be accepting donations, during our Thursday, April 16th to Sunday, April 19th performances that will be donated to the Danville Area Humane Society .

Anything is appreciated. Whether it is food, toys, or treats, for any animal, we would love your help. If you could, please share this post to spread the word about our drive. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out, and we look forward to seeing you in 4 days!🎲
