Great times meeting our new students at Corsair Quad Events!

Heading off to college is one of life’s biggest transitions. Students often arrive wondering: Will I fit in? Will I be successful? Some come with a carefully developed plan, while others are still figuring things out—and that is perfectly okay. Life has a beautiful way of unfolding one experience at a time.

After arriving and getting some rest, our students spent the next day making friends, baking, cooking, and sharing food. Some walked across hallways to share and enjoy cookies chorizo together, while others headed to the mall or Target. What really happened- they began finding their people, building community, and taking the first steps on their own unique journeys.

Whatever our students decide to pursue, Student Affairs, Student Success, Academic Advising, and the entire UMass Dartmouth community are here to guide, encourage, and support them. Along the way, we will all make good—and sometimes interesting—choices. Each experience becomes a life lesson that helps us grow and become who we are meant to be.

Loved meeting our new students and watching these new connections begin!

Excited to welcome the Corsair Band, bringing musical genious, school spirit, and a new energy to our campus! What makes them special is the diversity of majors -engineering, bioengineering english, math, music, etc. Music unites them and inspires their passions.💙💛

Good times are ahead! Join us on September 4 for our home football game and enjoy an unforgettable time with the band. Go Corsairs! 🎶
