UF Geomatics in Fort Lauderdale recently hosted students and faculty from Broward College, including those from the BC Avionics Program, for an informative presentation on careers in Geomatics and the latest in drone technology. The event focused on exploring ways to strengthen the partnership between BC and UF, facilitating a smooth transition for students into the Geomatics program at the University of Florida, particularly at the Fort Lauderdale Research and Education Center in Davie.

UF Geomatics at Fort Lauderdale was honored to be invited by Dr. Malou C. Harrison, Executive Vice President and Provost of Miami Dade College, along with Dean Manny Perez from the School of Engineering and Technology (EnTec), to explore collaboration opportunities and develop seamless educational pathways for MDC students transitioning into the Geomatics program at the University of Florida, including our Fort Lauderdale Research and Education Center in Davie.
