Broward College Environmental Science BS program Follow the happenings within the Environmental Science BS program. The program focuses on giving students applied and hands-on experience.

Broward College offers a unique Bachelors of Science (BS) Degree that prepares students for the job market and graduate/professional school. The Environmental Science BS Program at Broward College contains the science core courses required by most professional schools (Medical, Dental, Pharmacy, Doctor of Plant Medicine) and graduate programs (MS, PhD), yet also contains many applied courses that

will make students competitive in the science job market. Courses such as entomology, soil science, hydrology, plant pathology and GIS courses are valuable tools when pursuing science/technical employment with government or the private sector. A career in environmental science is rewarding and fulfilling. Careers range from high tech laboratory type positions to outdoor field adventures and even positions that encompass both.
