Today's Why Kappa Wednesday featuring these cuties! Read what Armita, Kate, and Amanda have to say
“Joining Kappa has been one of the best experiences of my time in college, but also one of the best experiences of my life. Since I rushed as a second year, I was nervous that I wouldn’t be able to connect with girls the same way as if I rushed my first year, but every single Kappa made me feel welcome. I’ve never met a group of girls so funny and down to earth, and I can’t imagine my college experience without all of them. I truly feel like I’ve found a family made up of amazing girls who I could turn to when times get tough, for a laugh, or just to talk to about anything. If I could go back to when I rushed, I would go Kappa every single time.” - Armita
“I went Kappa because every girl I met was so passionate and kind, and there was a warmth that made me feel so safe during recruitment. Rushing as a sophomore felt intimidating, but the moment I walked through the doors of Kappa, I felt valued and instantly knew I’d found my home away from home. In Kappa, there’s always someone there for you—whether that’s sitting in the sunroom of the library, debriefing a tough day after chapter, or heading out on your next adventure. I’m so lucky to have found such an incredible community of women I love so much! 🩵” - Kate
"Seeing my cousins, aunts, and big sister find their home away from home in Greek life motivated me to give recruitment a chance. A decision that I will forever be grateful for. Kappa Kappa Gamma is filled with women who are kind, dependable, supportive, authentic, and brilliant. I am beyond grateful and proud of every single member of this chapter and the memories that they have shared or created with me. Watching our sisterhood come together to raise awareness for causes greater than ourselves is truly one of the reasons why Kappa holds a special place in my heart. I am extremely lucky to be able to give back to the organization that has given so much to me." - Amanda
