“Jordan Flynn , Hometown: Woodbury, NJ , Profession: Sports management ”

What inspired you to become a Nupe?

“I was drawn to become a Nupe because of the standard of excellence it represents and the caliber of the men who embody it. I knew this brotherhood would challenge me to grow, inspire me to strive for more, and ultimately shape me into a better man.”

What’s a fun fact about you that most people don’t know?

“I’ve loved boxing since I was young, ever since my dad introduced me to the sport. Growing up, we would attend amateur fights together, and I still enjoy going to this day. Although I’ve never stepped into the ring myself, I’ve always been a strong supporter of the sport. Boxing embodies resilience, discipline, self-control, and humility. Watching fighters master those qualities and develop into some of the greatest champions has only deepened my admiration and appreciation for the sport.”

When you think of achievement, what comes to mind?

“When I think of achievement, I think of the people and moments where success wasn’t the absence of obstacles, it was the result of persevering despite them. To me, achievement through adversity means having the courage to keep moving forward when every challenge tells you to give up. It’s in those moments of resilience that struggles are transformed into success. The greatest accomplishments are often forged through adversity, and true strength is built when you refuse to quit.“

“My name is Arthur, but everyone knows me as AJ. Hometown is Trenton, NJ shoutout to Capital City. Profession: Pharmacy Tech”

What inspired you to become a Nupe?

“I was first introduced to D9 culture in high school through several brothers of the Xi Gamma Chapter and my sister who’s is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. This experience sparked my interest, and from that moment, I knew Kappa Alpha Psi was where my heart belonged. As the years passed, I continued learning about the Divine Nine and other organizations, but nothing ever changed my path toward Kappaland.”

What’s a fun fact about you that most people don’t know?

“I know how to a fly a plane and I’m 20 hours away from getting my Private Pilot License.”

When you think of achievement, what comes to mind?

“Achievement means accomplishment. When I think of achievement, I think of accolades, milestones, goals, etc. Regardless of who you are, we all have goals that we would like to achieve in our lifetime to feel fulfilled. These goals are what keeps us motivated and ready to face the world and its challenges every day.”
