Sigma Chi - University of Dayton Sigma Chi was founded on June 28, 1855 at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio when members split from Delta Kappa Epsilon.

Founded at the University of Dayton in 1988, the Iota Theta Chapter of Sigma Chi boasts over 600 accomplished alumni who can be found all over the world in many different fields of endeavor. Sigma Chi (ΣΧ) is one of the oldest and the largest college Greek-letter secret and social fraternities in North America with 240 active chapters and more than 300,000 initiates. Huge UD Sigma Chi Update! The university is officially on board for our chapter to begin return next year, potentially by late fall. The VP of Student Development is telling Greek Life to fast-track us because we have 15–20 guys ready to go. More legacies are also coming this fall. We are working with the university on next steps, but in the meantime we want to update our contact info. Please help us by completing this form and by passing the info and link to others.

It was 30 years ago today that I was initiated into Iota Theta of Sigma Chi at the University of Dayton! Go Kappas!! I cannot believe it has been three decades. Now to find the pledge class picture that I have somewhere.
