The UCIE acts as a catalyst for international education at Wright State University and facilitates an environment where students, faculty, and staff have increased opportunities to gain international understanding through learning and experience. We hope that you will take advantage of UCIE programs and services such as our faculty-led Ambassador Programs, overseas teaching opportunities through t
he University Study Abroad Consortium (USAC) and partner Exchange Programs, or by participating in a Study Abroad Faculty Development Program. Students have a great variety of study abroad programs available to them worldwide through the Ambassador Programs, Exchange Programs, and USAC. International students and scholars are key to internationalizing our community and classrooms and the UCIE not only provides immigration and visa support, but also programs such as the International Coffee Hour, the International Friendship Affair, the International House, and events for international and American students. Finally, the UCIE supports our Colleges and Departments in their international curricular initiatives through grants, projects, and new academic programs, which are often the focus of our International Brown Bag Seminars offered during the quarter.
