The UD Trumpet Ensemble was stellar today, performing “Infinite Ascent” by Erik Morales and “Into The Blue” by Kevin McKee at today’s campus wide event, Stander Symposium. Special thanks to two incoming first year students, Riley Morningstar and Nathaniel Witt, for joining us! Go Flyers!

The ladies on my right sounded awesome tonight with the University Jazz Band! The whole studio showed out in support! Proud of these students and their continued great work.

So proud to hear Emma Rustad and Anthony Spade kill it on Dvorak’s Eight today! It was also the final conducing performance with Dr. Patrick Reynolds after over thirty years of leading the University of Dayton Orchestra and Symphonic Wind Ensemble. Thanks for everything Pat!

Fantastic day of trumpet playing by Emma Rustad(Music Therapy 27’), Anthony Spade(Civil Engineering/Music 29’) and Atticus Curry(Music Performance 28’). Emma performed Haydn mvt. 1, Anthony performed Petite Piece Concertante by Balay, and Atticus performed the Hummel mvt. 1. Bravo all! The studio was all there to support them as well!
