This week's Zone VI Photography Exhibition portfolio is titled "Personal Still Life" by Taron Overdorff. They were made in ART 1171, Studio Photography. Fiber-Base Silver Gelatin Prints made using 4" x 5" large-format negatives.

Face studies which start with the skeletal structure of the skull; then students draw the facial features on top of the skull drawing. This helps students understand proportion and human anatomy.
Drawings were made in ART 2216-2217, Life Drawing and Anatomy I & II, taught by Professor Mark Echtner. Come check them out on the 3rd Floor of Building 13!

Today is the opening day for the 2026 Fine Art Faculty Exhibition: Featuring Professor Kevin Harris. Come see his work in the Burnell R. Roberts Triangle Gallery, as well as the rest of the Fine Art Faculty showing in the Works on Paper Gallery.
The show will be up through September 21, 2026.

This week's portfolio in the Zone VI Photography Gallery by Leanna Smith. Titled "Careful What You Wish For", these photos were made in ART 1162, Black & White Darkroom Photography II. Fiber Base silver gelatin prints produced from infrared film negatives, incorporating a combination printing process with ortho-litho overlay.

You can see this portfolio on display on the 3rd Floor of Building 13.
