Understanding color is one of the most important things to learn when beginning to study art. Students here at Sinclair create color wheels in their own style not only to show their creativity but to also understand the fundamentals of color.
These wheels were created in ART 2D Foundations, taught by Professor Mark Echtner.

You can see these pieces and others on the 2nd Floor of Building 13, Dayton Campus.

In this series, Austin Roth-Rodriguez has collaborated with a fellow ceramics student to create these green lily-carved mugs. This ties into the desire to take an already unique design in the creation of a mug, while also elevating it into something even more.
The new display case can be found on the 3rd Floor of Building 13 by the Hypotenuse Gallery.

This week's portfolio in the Zone VI Photography Gallery by Leanna Smith is titled "Addicted." Leanna's work will be exhibited in tandem with our 2026 FotoFocus Biennial show.
The photographs were made in ART 2294, Photography Portfolio Development. Hand-colored Fiber-Base Silver Gelatin prints.

You can see this portfolio on display on the 3rd Floor of Building 13.
