The University of Dayton recently dedicated a new sculpture by acclaimed artists and identical twin brothers Kyle and Kelly Phelps in the courtyard of the Roger Glass Center for the Arts. The bronze statue celebrates the dignity of ordinary people, and the connection between UD and the broader Dayton community.

Kyle and Kelly Phelps are art and design faculty at the University of Dayton and Xavier University, respectively.

The ceremony included a blessing by Brother Tim Driscoll, S.M.; remarks by the Phelps brothers and UD Department of Visual and Performing Arts Assistant Chair R. Darden Bradshaw; and musical performances by the University’s Faculty Brass Quintet.
