University of Dayton Hanley Sustainability Institute Through the Hanley Sustainability Institute, the University of Dayton's sustainability efforts are being extended campus-wide and into the community.

Our distinctive, highly integrated approach prepares students to meet the growing demand for sustainability skills in the workplace. Our initial objectives include:
- Developing an interdisciplinary graduate certificate in sustainability.
- Creating an urban agriculture demonstration project in the Dayton community.
- Establishing Hanley Research Fellows and Hanley Scholars-in-Residence for underg

raduate, graduate and faculty research. Initiating a series of conferences connecting to sustainability education.
