Fall of Freedom at St. Norbert College

Join us this Friday, October 2, for Fall of Freedom at St. Norbert College!

Three student-curated exhibitions, created by students in the Art & Creative Democracy course, will be on view. Drawing from collections in Mulva Library Special Collections and the Permanent Collection, students explore how artists use visual culture to document history, communicate ideas, and engage with movements for social change.

Featured collections include the God Bless Graffiti Coalition, Celebrate People’s History, and Community Defense: Voces de la Frontera / Voces de los Artistas portfolios.

Also join us for a drop-in session of Morgan O’Hara’s Handwriting the Constitution from 12–2 p.m., inviting participants to slow down and engage directly with the Constitution through handwriting this foundational document.

Other exhibitions on view in the Bush Art Center include:

• Art Against the Odds — Baer Gallery
• Handwriting the Constitution — Godschalx Gallery
• Just by Joon Soo Ha — Media Space Gallery
• Voices of Freedom — Permanent Collection Gallery

Together, these exhibitions consider freedom as an ongoing subject of artistic inquiry, civic participation, and public conversation.

Join us for Fall of Freedom Friday, October 2!
