We're Open Today!

The Richland Community College Farmers Market will be open today, Wednesday from 3:00–7:00 PM at the Michael D. Andreas Agriculture Building.

Our vendors are set up inside the Agriculture Building, you'll be able to shop comfortably even if Mother Nature decides rain on us.
Some of your favorite vendors are coming today are: Prairie View Farm Oakley, IL, Alexander's Primetime Seasonings & Rubs,
MMWC Homestead & Rabbitry, J&P Creations Creative Wood Products and Decor, and Richland Student Farms has so many plants: hanging baskets, tomato plants, annual flowers and houseplants!!

As always, we encourage everyone to keep an eye on the weather and use your best judgment if conditions become unsafe in the area. The forecast continues to change, and we're hoping for decent weather!

Garden Tour & Gardening Q&A at the Farmers Market!
Join Richland Community College's own Soils Instructor, Dave Shiley, for a guided tour of our Urban Agriculture Plots at the 30 min mark (3:30, 4:30, 5:30, and 6:30). Dave will share what's growing, discuss sustainable gardening practices, and answer your gardening questions during an informal Garden Q&A.

Farmers Market Season is Here! Our first Market of the season will be held on Wednesday, June 17, from 3:00–7:00 PM at the Michael D. Andreas Agriculture Building on the Richland Community College campus.

We are excited to welcome a great lineup of local vendors offering fresh produce, baked goods, plants, handmade products, and more. Vendors will be located both inside and outside the building, so we'll be open rain or shine.

The students in HORT 200 Perennials course did an excellent job on their final designs. They created a multi season design using plants they leaned through out the semester.
