Partial Lunar Eclipse Alert! πŸŒ•

This Thursday Atlanta will be able to see the final eclipse of 2026!
A lunar eclipse is when the Earth moves between the Sun and Moon during full moon phase. If the three celestial objects do not perfectly align, Earth's shadow is unable to cast over the whole face of the moon...in comes a partial lunar eclipse.

"What time can I see it?" FANTASTIC question!
This partial eclipse begins around 9:30 pm Aug. 27th and will reach a maximum at 12:12 am Aug. 28th. Your last chance at seeing this event will be at 1:51 am, so set that alarm and brew that cup of coffee! β˜•
