Agnes Scott College is proud to be recognized as a featured case study in the Heritage Now! Campaign and as a member of the Decarbonizing the Built Environment Through Heritage (DBTH) Advisory Group, a global coalition advancing heritage-informed approaches to climate action.

Since committing to carbon neutrality by 2037, Agnes Scott has reduced campus carbon emissions by more than 52%, thanks in large part to thoughtfully renovating existing campus buildings rather than replacing them. These efforts have preserved the historic character of campus while improving energy performance and earning multiple LEED certifications.

This international recognition reflects Agnes Scott's longstanding commitment to sustainability and reinforces our mission to prepare students to address the environmental and social challenges of our time.
