Led by Professor Victor Gensini from NIU Earth, Atmosphere and Environment, the Center for Interdisciplinary Research on Convective Storms has brought NIU together with the University of Wisconsin–Madison, industry and government partners:

An internship in NIU's Center for Governmental Studies marked the beginning of a new collaboration between CGS and the The Center for Nonprofit and NGO Studies at NIU. Natalie Mealing, a double major in NNGO studies and political science, provided support to CGS’s Workforce Policy Lab to develop a nonprofit capacity building program in partnership with the State of Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity. https://bit.ly/3R4tf8F
