Join a morning walk with your Gamma Phi sisters!
When: Saturday, January 14, 2023
Time: 8:30 am

Where to meet: In front of (west side) of the gym at the Rancho Bernardo Community Center, 18448 West Bernardo Drive, San Diego, CA 92127.
There are restrooms at the rec center and there should be plenty of parking (and there are other places to park nearby too, if necessary.)
Google Map link: https://goo.gl/maps/YaM5yJDHBjtxYVhZA

The Plan: We will walk the San Dieguito River Park Piedras Pintadas Trail. Small binoculars are recommended to see the rock paintings though a good phone camera will also work (my iPhone 6s is not quite good enough.) We plan to be out for 1.5 to 2 hours and after we view the rock paintings we will continue walking other trails along the south side of Lake Hodges. The south side of Lake Hodges is a mix of flat and gentle hills (not crazy steep.) (Trail map link: http://www.sdrp.org/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/15.06.24-Trail-Map-Piedras-Pintadas.pdf)

Post-Hike Refreshment: After the hike we will drive south to Sabre Springs. to a woman-owned cafe, Nutmeg Bakery & Cafe (good food options for all vegetarians, omnivores, etc.)
12640 Sabre Springs Pkwy #107, San Diego, CA 92128

Whether you hike or not, all are welcome to join us for a meal. Text Marybeth for our timing the day of the hike. (estimating 11 am arrival at Nutmeg)

Wear good walking shoes and bring a water bottle and sunscreen (as needed.)

RSVP/Questions: Marybeth Norgren at 619-889-6232 (mobile) or [email protected] (email).
