What a beautiful afternoon of elegance, fellowship, and celebration!

This past Saturday, we gathered for The Crimsonton: A Season of Sisterhood, our end-of-year social tea party honoring the spirit of sisterhood that has carried us through an incredible sorority year. From the stunning crimson and cream attire to the laughter shared over tea and sweet treats, every moment reflected the grace, excellence, and connection that make our chapter so special.

✨ We celebrated our accomplishments.
✨ We recognized the dedication and service of our Sorors.
✨ We crowned our Diamonds of the Season.
✨ Most importantly, we cherished the bonds that unite us in sisterhood.

As we reflect on a year filled with service, impact, and growth, The Crimsonton reminded us that our greatest achievement is the strong and lasting sisterhood we continue to build together.

Thank you to the Membership Services Committee for creating such a memorable experience and to every Soror who attended and made the day so special.

Motherhood is a journey where the days feel long and the years are short, yet the love poured into each moment leaves an imprint that lasts a lifetime.

Today we honor our beautiful mothers — those who guide our steps, watch ahead for danger, and pour themselves into others without hesitation. From mothers by birth to grandmothers, godmothers, and every mother figure who stands in the gap, your love is the foundation upon which we stand.

We also hold space for our sisters experiencing the complexity of joy and grief on this day. For those navigating their own experience of becoming a mother, and those missing the presence of theirs — we see you, we are you, and we love you.

To every woman who has ever loved like a mother: your journey has paved the path we walk today. Anchored in the legacy you have built and evolving with the intention you have modeled, we carry you with us in every step forward. Happy Mother's Day!

The Krewe of DCA successfully brought the community together for an afternoon full of culture, connection, and incredible flavors at our “Elevating Community Through Cuisine” Food Truck Festival! Hosted by the Denton County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., the event welcomed families, friends, and community supporters to enjoy a vibrant celebration of Caribbean cuisine, barbecue, Creole favorites, sweet treats, and refreshing drinks.

Guests enjoyed an exciting atmosphere filled with fellowship, laughter, and delicious food from a variety of local vendors. From savory bites to decadent desserts, there was something for everyone to experience and enjoy. The event served as more than just a food festival — it was a reminder of the power of community, culture, and connection.

Thank you to everyone who attended, supported, and helped make this event a success. Your presence and enthusiasm helped us continue our mission of uplifting and engaging the community through meaningful experiences. The Krewe of DCA appreciates every volunteer, vendor, supporter, and guest who contributed to such an amazing day. We look forward to continuing to elevate the community together!
