The Intensive English Language Institute at University of North Texas offers intensive academic English language preparation courses for international students who want to study at UNT or other universities or colleges in the United States. IELI has 7 levels of English proficiency, from beginner (Level 0) to advanced (Level 6) and 5 eight-week terms each year: Fall I, Fall II, Spring I, Spring II,
Summer. Students enroll in 2 core classes (Communication and Writing), Monday-Friday to complete 20 hours/week, and 3 hours of supplemental classes.
