Congratulations to Dr. Amy Ott, who defended her dissertation project yesterday, titled, "Turning towards the Sun: Reorienting the Writing Self through Embodied and Contemplative Practice in Corequisite First-Year Composition."

Her defense was a spectacular event -- full of brilliant insights, sweet treats, and even sweeter friends and family, some of whom traveled across the Atlantic to cheer her on.
