UNT Learning Technologies Department of Learning Technologies in the College of Information at the University of North Texas

The Department of Learning Technologies provides opportunities to develop technology-enabled training methods and environments, with a keen eye to advance society, one lifelong learner at a time. Technology is used to support an individualistic approach to learning. Educational problems can be solved for a diverse population and all ages of learners through research, product development, and effec

tive application of existing and emerging technologies. Learning doesn't just occur in a classroom but can be found in the work place as well as in wide variety of life situations, even in educational video games. The study and design of learning environments and strategies has potential to result in new and innovative tools and technologies.
