If you or someone you know are interested and can benefit from learning about employment based sponsorship to adjust immigration status or about current United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) updates directly from Immigration Attorneys, then mark your calendars for Tuesday, September 22nd!

We are excited to announce that applications are now open for the IME Becas Scholarship for the 2026–2027 academic year!

In partnership with el General de México en Denver through The Institute of Mexicans in the Exterior (IME), IME Becas provides financial support to students to expand access to higher education and support their academic success and community advancement in the United States.

Award Amount: $2,000 for the 2026–2027 academic year

Scholarship Criteria:

Be enrolled s a full-time degree-seeking, undergraduate student (12 or more credits) at MSU Denver

Must be classified as in-state for tuition purposes

Complete 2026-2027 CASFA or FAFSA before August 17

Financial aid eligible

Connections to Mexico, (e.g family, birth, former domicile) OR Submit an essay/personal statement in English (no more than 500 words) describing financial need, professional aspirations, and your connection to Mexico
