📢 New Program Announcement

In collaboration with Community College Of Denver & MSU Denver, we are thrilled to announce a new opportunity for students to earn a bachelor’s degree in nursing with fewer barriers and a simplified transfer process.

With the AS-BSN Collaborative Program, CCD and MSU Denver have mapped the coursework so students know which classes count toward the bachelor’s degree before they enroll. As such, students can take advantage of CCD tuition rates for the first half of their education, and won’t have to worry about transferring to MSU Denver when the time comes.

🌟 It’s week 1 at the Community College of Denver 🌟

Auraria Campus is finally packed with new and returning students for the 2026 Fall Semester 🎉

Thanks CCD SPARC for putting on the CityHawk Block Party to help welcome and celebrate students back to campus! With yard games, tie-dye, food, and more—it’s the perfect way to meet new friends and feel at home at CCD. The final celebration will be tomorrow from 12pm-3pm.

Reminder: if you find yourself lost on campus please ask one of our staff members at the “Ask Me” booths, located outside of the Confluence Building and in the lobby of the Cherry Creek Building. We can help you find your classes, direct you to the I.D. station, and more!

What a wonderful way to close out the summer and kickoff the school year! The CCD Admissions, Recruitment, & Outreach team (ARO) out did themselves, welcoming our new CityHawks with a true celebration—beach style 🏖️

🔨 Construction is well underway on Boulder Creek

The building undergoing construction will eventually house the departments of Dental Hygiene, Health and Wellness, Nursing, Phlebotomy/Medical Assisting, Radiologic Tech, Surgical Tech, and Vet Tech. With these programs under one roof, CCD can increase program efficiencies and serve a larger student body. As the healthcare industry continues to grow, our institution is proud to provide more opportunities & resources to students pursuing a career in this area of the workforce.

Auraria Campus anticipates construction to end in December 2026.
