What if the future of manufacturing didn't start with a mold?

This Manufacturing Month, we're taking you inside a CU Denver engineering lab where researchers are rethinking how advanced composite materials are designed and formed. By combining additive manufacturing, incremental sheet forming and AI, Associate Professor Kai Yu and his team are exploring new ways to create lighter, smarter and highly specialized components for industries like aerospace, healthcare, transportation and energy.
