The 2026 CU Denver Block Party is tomorrow! Join us Thursday, Aug. 20 from noon to 3 p.m. on Lawrence Street between Speer Boulevard and 14th Street.

Now in its 14th year, the Block Party is a free, public back-to-school celebration bringing together students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members. Enjoy food trucks, interactive games, giveaways, photo ops with Milo the Lynx, and a look at everything CU Denver offers.

Taught by Anoud Bani-Hani, this course introduces AI and its applications across the functions that matter most to entrepreneurs. Concept evaluation, business planning, financial forecasting, data-driven marketing, and customer personalization. This course covers the financial foundation of running a venture, from forecasting and analyzing financial statements to valuation, buying versus starting a business, franchising, and financing options like venture capital, angel investment, crowdfunding, and private equity.
