Dear former students of Professor Jodie Kreider,

As many of you know, Professor Jodie Kreider passed away on September 17, 2023 after a brief illness. The History Department will be hosting an informal, student-centered event to honor Professor Kreider and to share in her most favorite things – good company, good snacks, and watching good TV, ie “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.” Please join us on May 15, 2024 at 6 p.m. in Sturm 312, where we will view the “Once More With Feeling” Buffy episode (you don’t need to be a Buffy fan to follow along!) and to share our favorite memories of Professor Kreider.

Please note that this event is especially for students, though all who knew Jodie are welcome. RSVP to Professor Escobedo: [email protected] if you are able to make it.
