On this historic day, we join hands in commemorating Juneteenth, a celebration of emancipation, resilience, and the indomitable spirit of African Americans.

Juneteenth represents the momentous occasion when news of freedom reached the last enslaved people in Galveston, Texas, on June 19th, 1865.

Today, we remember the struggles, sacrifices, and triumphs of people who had fought tirelessly for equality and justice. Juneteenth serves as a powerful reminder of the progress we have made and the work that still lies ahead in creating a truly inclusive society.
