The girls of Alpha Phi share a rich history, dating back to 1872 when Alpha Phi was founded by ten forward thinking women at Syracuse University, and it is now one of the oldest and largest women's fraternities in North America. Our special bond as sisters in Alpha Phi drives us forward as a chapter. In each other we find love, support, strength, fun, and lifelong friendship. Our sisterhood is our

The Iota Xi chapter at DU is one of five Panhellenic sororities on campus. Phis are always excited to participate when the Greek Community comes together in various events like Greek Week and Greek Service Days.

“Alpha Phi has enriched my college experience far beyond what I imagined. It’s given me lifelong friendships and the chance to be part of a community of driven and inspiring women. I’ve especially valued opportunities to get involved through Alpha Phi and within the Panhellenic community.
