Join Dr. Sarah Fields and Dr. Jennifer Reich this fall for UNHL 3999: AI and the End of the World Through Movies! Explore AI, robots, surveillance, and imagined futures through films and conversation. No technical background needed, just curiosity!

📅 Eight-week Fall 2026 course starting October 21
🕔 Listed meetings: Oct. 21 & 28 and Nov. 4, 11 & 18, 5–8 p.m.
🎓 Earn 1 credit of honors coursework toward UHL and/or HSC
🤝 Open to all members of the university community

🎓 Senior Spotlight: Adil “A” Erradi
 
From Chicago, IL, A is a Political Science student in the Class of 2027 and a member of our Honors & Leadership student staff! 💛
 
After graduation, he plans to pursue a PhD and become a professor. Outside the classroom and the Honors Suite, he enjoys acting, voice acting, longboarding, and cooking. His favorite class has been Political Violence with Professor Glen Morris.
 
His advice to incoming students:
“Whatever ‘it’ is, don’t overthink it. Have confidence, and commit to the bit.”
 
A says his favorite thing about Honors is the people in the Honors Suite, who are “extremely supportive and want to see everyone succeed.”

⚖️ Summer Activity Highlight: Carla Gutierrez Torres ☀️

This past summer, Honors & Leadership student Carla Gutierrez Torres took on major leadership roles both on campus and nationally through the Front Range Consortium Scholars Program (FRC)! 🎖️

Carla was elected Student Body President through CU Denver’s Student Government Association and was the only CU Denver student accepted into the National Security Scholarship Program through FRC.

Congratulations, Carla, on an incredible summer of leadership and achievement! ✨
