Eyes on Pima OMT Program Pima Medical Institute's Ophthalmic Medical Technician program can get you your Occupational Associa

Ophthalmic Medical Technicians help ophthalmologists collect data and measurements to allow the correct diagnosis and treatment of eye disease. Ophthalmic medical technicians work in a wide range of settings, including hospitals, clinics, multi-specialty offices, private practices, or refractive surgery centers. In addition to general ophthalmology, ophthalmic medical technicians can specialize in areas such as cornea, retina, glaucoma, pediatrics, oculoplastics, and neuro-ophthalmology.
