Class President Biographies:
Senior Class President - Sam White
Sam will be a senior from Chandler, Arizona majoring in psychology, and minoring in spanish, biology, chemistry and leadership at the University of Denver. Sam intended to come to DU as an athlete, but after a knee injury he began to devote his time to the betterment of the campus. He is a member of several different clubs on campus
, and has been on USG for three years where he last served as President Pro-Tempore. He has been to many conferences as a delegate for DU and spends most of his time mingling with students or thinking of ways to make DU a better place for students. Throughout his tenure at the University of Denver, he has appreciated the valuable learning approach at DU, and wants to see DU excel as much as DU students do. He is excited to serve as Senior Class President in order to be the voice of the senior class and make the 2012-2013 school year the best year for seniors ever to be had at the University of Denver. "Ashlee" will be a junior from Kersey, Colorado majoring in political science and strategic communications while minoring in socio-legal studies. She has dedicated herself to various student organizations, one being the university's debate team. She has traveled internationally representing the University of Denver for the past two years. Ashlee is a very friendly gal and enjoys cultural engagements. She hope's to continue DU's long term goal of diversity and is devoted to the idea of class unity and the recognition of different cultures. She is more than excited to create a legacy with the help of her class and to set the bar high for the class councils.
