πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ Press Freedom in the U.S.: A Reality Check

According to the latest report from Reporters Without Borders, the U.S. now ranks 64th in the world for press freedomβ€”classified as a β€œproblematic” environment.

πŸ“‰ That’s a continued decline from previous years.
Key issues driving this trend:
β€’ Political pressure on journalists
β€’ Economic collapse of local news
β€’ Rising safety concerns and public distrust

The First Amendment remains strongβ€”but the practice of journalism is facing real challenges.

🧠 Bottom line: A free press isn’t guaranteedβ€”it has to be protected.
