Tim and I were invited to observe a Voces8 recording session last week. They are such a stellar group, and we really enjoyed watching their collaborative process! Barnaby Smith showed us their recording and editing setup during a break. They were recording "Hymn to Eternity" by Stephen Paulus and "Only in Dreams" by Eriks Esenvalds, both really lovely. A supporter had just given them each a teddy bear - some of the bears are sitting on the music stands!

I was so proud of the MSU Denver Chorale today as they performed for the Colorado All State Choirs! They sang with energy and focus, they were expressive and impressive! And congratulations to Mark Hardcastle who conducted inspirationally! I didn't get any photos from today, so here's the view from our retreat last month. 😃
