Rocky Mountain Refuge’s mission is simple and vital: provide a dignified, stable place where hospice partners can deliver skilled care, while staff and volunteers offer daily support and companionship.

Dr. Ingle’s research and community engagement illuminate why models like Rocky Mountain Refuge matter, highlighting the systemic barriers at the intersections of poverty, aging, and healthcare, and the urgent need to expand access to palliative and hospice services.
