Join us for the next 𝗪𝗶𝘀𝗱𝗼𝗺 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 gathering at the University of Denver on 𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟬, 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟭:𝟬𝟬 𝘁𝗼 𝟯:𝟬𝟬 𝗽.𝗺., where we'll explore 𝗗𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 with Dr. David Sanders. Hosted by Barbara Kreisman, founder of Purposeful Aging, the Wisdom Group brings together individuals interested in intentional living, navigating life's transitions, and lifelong learning. Session 1 - Advancing Healthy Aging Through Whole-Person Health: Community-Based Complementary and Integrative Health Strategies, Joseph Brady, MSTCM, L. Ac., Dipl.O.M.

Session 2 - Creating Health Through Movement: A Public Health Perspective on Whole-Person Health and Healthy Aging, Shellie Pfohl, M.S. Ed., will share insights on public health approaches to whole-person health through physical movement and its impact on healthy aging. Ms. Pfohl’s talk will be followed by remarks featuring Marin Campbell, PT, DPT and Professor Brian Gearity, PhD, MBA, CSCS, ATC, FNSCA.

Session 3 – Creating Health through Food: Interdisciplinary Perspectives on Nutrition, Digestion, and the Microbiome; this interactive discussion will explore the role of nutrition, digestive health, and the microbiome in whole-person health and healthy aging, following presentations by experts featuring range of traditions, modalities, and disciplinary perspectives. Presenters including Professor Tiffany Weir, Ph.D., Zaidy Charron, CAAP, Jennifer Thompson, MSOM, L.Ac., Dipl. Ac., and Brita Mutti, ND, FABNO.
