What started as a Spring 2024 experiment has grown into a recurring MSU Denver campus tradition.

Ask a Professor brings faculty experts together with students for informal conversations about timely social, political and cultural topics. The goal is simple: create space for civil discourse and show that disagreement can be an opportunity for dialogue rather than division.

Big congratulations to MSU Denver student Madina Amiri! 🎉 She's has been awarded the 2026–28 Voyager Scholarship for Public Service through the Obama Foundation! She's the only Colorado representative this cohort.

"I was dreaming of making an impact at MSU Denver, and maybe one day across Colorado," Madina said. "But now, standing at this moment, I feel like the world is calling me to make that impact on a much bigger scale."

Did you know: Cleo Parker Robinson and Harvey Milkman partnered on Project Self-Discovery, an arts-based program for teens dealing with addiction and other challenges. The program combined dance and other creative arts with clinical therapy. The program ran from 1992-2002.
