There is ONE week until the 2026 primary election! We want to remind all Iowans that you VOTE is your VOICE!

Primary elections help decide who will appear on the ballot in November for key offices including Governor, U.S. Senate, Congress, state legislature, and local leadership positions. These decisions directly impact our communities, schools, housing, healthcare, economic opportunity, and more.

In Iowa, voters must declare a party affiliation to participate in a primary election, but you can register or change your party affiliation when you vote.

We are incredibly proud to congratulate the appointment of our sister, Latoya Lewis, to the Black Women 4 Healthy Living (BW4HL) Board & Advisory Committee.

Latoya has long been a dedicated advocate for wellness within our community. As a professional Doula, she works tirelessly on the front lines to combat the Black maternal health crisis, providing essential support to mothers throughout the birthing process.

Please join us in celebrating Latoya as she brings her passion to this leadership role.
