Update: The Sprout Garden will be closed Monday 5/5 and Tuesday 5/6 while beekeepers remove an overactive hive. The Garden will reopen on Wednesday. Our last two open sessions for the spring semester are Wednesday 5/7, 2-4pm and Sunday 5/11, 4-6pm. Check back soon for summer open hours!

Please be aware that we are seeing some agressive behavior from bees in the Sprout Garden due in part to the size, number, and location of hives placed by a local beekeeping group. We are asking the owners of the bee hives to remove them as soon as possible because the risk level and aspects of the partnership overall are not what we expected. We apologize for the inconvenience and will update this post when the hives are removed.
