Richard Broughton, Associate Dean for Faculty Research & Development and Philip J. McElroy Professor of Law, has been invited to deliver remarks for a Symposium on "American Law at 250," hosted at Syracuse University College of Law in November. His remarks will focus on the role of fidelity in American constitutionalism. He will assess fidelity, in the constitutional sense, as an essential instrument for discipline, humility, and the responsible exercise of power — values that are necessary for the continued success of the American experiment in rational self-government. The Syracuse Law Review will publish Dean Broughton's paper on the subject.

As Orientation week comes to a close, we had an exciting week welcoming our new 1L class, including networking with alumni, serving our community, and celebrating our first generation students.
