ISE is proud to celebrate a collaborative Women’s History Month celebration that brought together Cass Tech High School students and Wayne State University College of Engineering (IE) faculty and students, with the support of the Women of Ford Group and Athletes for Charity. The event featured a panel discussion where Ford Engineers and WSU faculty shared their experiences as women in STEM. The team encouraged students to recognize their own potential, celebrate their achievements, and see just how remarkable they are. The day also included teamwork and hands-on learning through a LEGO car assembly activity, followed by tours of the Industrial & Systems Engineering department labs showcasing state-of-the-art research in drones, cobots, mixed reality, and unmanned ground vehicles.
