Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc. - Beta Omega Chapter was established at Wayne State University in the Spring of 2001.

Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc. was the FIRST Latin sorority in the NATION (Est. 1975) and at WSU (Est. 2001)

Colors: Burgundy and Grey

Principles: Unity, Love and Respect

Goals: Scholarly excellence, empowerment of Latinas and the universal woman, cultural and political awareness, and community activism.

Today our chapter turns 25!!! We are proud to have founded the FIRST Latina Sorority on campus on March 24, 2001. Thank you to the now Angel, Rick Earnest (RIP) and Gretchen Beck from office who helped get our chapter established. To the rest of the Spring 2001 Greeks who crossed that semester - we resurrected Greek life that year!

***Are You Interested in Pursuing Membership This Semester??? *** If you answered yes - please join us next Wednesday, February 11 @ 5:30-7 pm in the Student Center Building Room 289 for a mandatory meeting. This meeting will provide you with everything you need to pursue membership with Lambda Theta Alpha. This meeting is a required step for joining. This meeting is for women not affiliated with a Greek org only.
