Tennessee College of Applied Technology Dickson and Clarksville Campus Tennessee College of Applied Technology prepares individuals for high skill, high wage, high demand careers in fourteen programs of study.

The goal of TCAT Dickson and Clarksville Campus is to provide technical training to students to meet the occupational needs of employers in our community. Individualized instruction is utilized to the maximum in most programs. School policy provides that a student may enter a program when a vacancy occurs, start training at their own level and progress at their own rate to the level desired within

the limitations of the school. Individualized instruction provides the student with the highest quality instruction possible in the occupational area of their choosing.

Please join us in congratulating Thomas Church (center), a Clarksville campus Automotive Technology student who recently earned his ASE G-1 certification. Thomas first toured TCAT Dickson's Automotive Technology program in November 2023. After having the opportunity to speak directly with the instructor and ask questions, Thomas decided TCAT Dickson was the next step in pursuing a career as an automotive technician. In addition to his diploma, Thomas now has an extra certification to add to his resume, giving him an advantage as he enters the workforce and his instructors, Gabe Yohner and Kendell McManus couldn't be prouder. Please join us in congratulating our most recent inductees into the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) from our main campus in Dickson and our campus at the Dickson Center of Higher Education. To become a member of NTHS students must have an "A" average, be present for 95 percent of their total program hours, and be nominated by their instructor. We are extremely proud of our Summer 2026 graduating Practical Nursing class from our campus at the Dickson Center of Higher Education. These nineteen students were honored with a traditional pinning ceremony held at First Baptist Church Dickson this week. A special congratulations to three Practical Nursing standouts, Kendra Boone, Venessa Browning, and Zephyr Rice pictured with their instructors and the director of nursing and health careers. Boone received the Academic Performance Award and was recognized for having perfect attendance - never missing an hour of her 1,296-hour program; Venessa Browning received the Peer Award voted by her classmates as the student they would want to take care of them or their family members during a medical emergency; and Zephyr Rice received the Outstanding Clinical Performance Award for her outstanding work at the clinical locations where she was assigned.

TCAT Dickson is accepting applications for a full-time Academic/Student Support Associate 3 – Receptionist at our Clarksville Campus.
This position supports Student Services and serves as the primary receptionist for the Clarksville Campus. Responsibilities include assisting current and prospective students, providing admissions and enrollment information, scheduling and conducting campus tours, assisting with new student orientation and graduation activities, maintaining student information, supporting special events, and performing general office duties.
Applicants should have strong communication and organizational skills, experience with business software such as Microsoft Office, and the ability to work effectively with students, employees, and the public. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and related office experience is preferred.
Scheduled work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This is not a remote work position.
Annual salary range: $29,020–$36,275

It was an honor for TCAT Dickson and the Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR) to present the Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Philanthropy to the Goodlark Educational Foundation for the many generous scholarships provided to TCAT Dickson students enrolled in the college's health careers programs since 2023. These scholarships have helped students pay bills allowing them to remain focused on their academics.
