Our first Westchester Open House: Complete ✅

After an engaging opening program and interactive academic sessions, our future Mavericks spent the afternoon in the Pavilion enjoying fall-themed treats, touring our beautiful campus, swapping custom pins, and hanging out with The Mav. We even gave away MacBook Neos to two lucky winners!

We had a blast welcoming prospective students and we can’t wait to do it all again in November!

As we begin to brace ourselves for the autumn chill, we’re commemorating this with a look back at a summer tradition going five years strong.

This past summer, Mercy University’s Music Production and Recording Arts Program returned to Barley Beach House in Rye for Beach Sessions, The Peak 107.1’s yearly free concert series that brings stand-out artists to Westchester audiences. Led by Mercy Music Studios Associate Director Sam Stauff, our students gained real-world experience preparing complex stage setups and engineering live sound for unforgettable shoreside performances.

At Mercy, we are committed to providing our students with hands-on learning opportunities on their paths towards fulfilling careers. This ongoing collaboration is just one of the many ways we stay true to that mission while building invaluable relationships with our local community.

Growing up, Adriana Rivera didn't see many books about kids like her. So, she wrote one.

This Hispanic Heritage Month, meet the Mercy marketing manager behind Paloma's Song for Puerto Rico: A Diary from 1898. Created with the Smithsonian's National Museum of the American Latino, her novel won a Gold Medal at the 2024 International Latino Book Awards

At Mercy, Adriana brings the same pride in her Puerto Rican heritage to her work on our Enrollment Marketing team. She chose Mercy because our mission as a non-profit, Hispanic-Serving Institution matches her values.

An evening of storytelling, dialogue and cultural connection awaits at Mercy University.

Join us on Mercy’s Westchester campus tonight at 6:30 p.m., for a free screening of “Martyr of Gowanus.” The critically acclaimed independent film, starring and executive produced by Sawyer Spielberg, explores the complicated nature of human connection in the aftermath of September 11.

Coupled with a Q&A with writer/director Brian Meere, the screening launches Art Exchange at Mercy University (ArtEx), a new initiative focused on cultivating cultural relationships with the local River Towns communities.
